NEW YORK - TOY FAIR DEBUT

Remember Deep Throat, the Watergate super-tipster? Don't Quote Me™,
but many people are confused over his exact words. Can you recall what he said?

"Everyone's life is in danger."

Actually, according to All The President's Men, those five famous words weren't
even spoken, but typed by Washington Post investigative reporter Bob Woodward
in explaining his hesitance to speak out loud to colleague Carl Bernstein.

"Anonymous sources, to some degree, are getting a
bad name. It makes it very hard for readers and
viewers to decide who uses anonymous sources honestly."

The source of that quote, some years later, was Bernstein, who shared the Pulitzer Prize with Woodward for their Watergate reporting.

So what did Deep Throat say?

"I really didn't say everything I said."

To tell the truth, it is Yogi Berra who said that.

Knowing who actually said what is the core of Don't Quote Me™, the exciting new adult board game making its debut this week at the American International Toy Fair. Don't Quote Me™ incorporates a comprehensive collection of thousands of outstanding quotations, and keeps players constantly guessing who uttered some
of the most memorable lines of our times.

Although there are about 200,000 English words in common usage, the most memorable thoughts are often conveyed in 20 words or fewer.

"The trouble is not that players have sex the night
before a game," observed Baseball Hall of Famer Casey Stengel.
"It is that they stay out all night looking for it."

Journalists attending this week's Toy Fair at the Javits Center in New York will not have to search long for the Don't Quote Me™ exhibit. We can be found at booth #6143. Stop by to meet our Quotemasters, pick up some sample game cards and immerse yourself in history's best-turned phrases.

"Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you
hold well." - Josh Billings
